The RS4 is like a WRX STI combined with an E90 M3. Think about that for a minute.

They just don’t ship enough to the US! We need more RS4 madness!

Ok, I claim this one for myself.

And from this angle, it just looks like an A4 on 19” wheels. It’s dat rear view where you really get to see the widebody and suspect something.

I’d still rather have this Wrangler.

Fine. Now take it and get out of my sight!

I’ll give you a few more things the Wrangler is better at than the Audi
1. I would bet the Wrangler actually has better reliability than the Audi (not many things have worse reliability, but I bet Audi is on that list.
2. Wrangler has better water fording ability
3. Wrangler has better trail capability
4. Wrangler has removable panels and can be a convertible or even door-less and still road legal.

1. Few things have worse reliability than an RS4. So yeah, you’re probably right. Though I though wranglers were really reliable.
2. True. But the Wrangler will beat damn near anything off-road. However, I drove one on the road, and despite being a fully loaded forty grand Rubicon with leather and such, it’s one of the least pleasant on-road vehicles I’ve ever driver (because that’s not what it was designed for).
3. Yes, but I recently got a text from a friend asking if I and a few other people wouldn’t mind coming to help him get the doors and roof off his Unlimited. So you can, and it will be fun, but you apparently need a few people and then your leg will be severed in the inevitable rollover.
I absolutely see why people like Wranglers. But if you never take them off road, you’re putting up with misery to gain a benefit you never use. At least more Wrangler owners go off-roading than pretty much any other car.

That’s why we have a Jeep Commander not a Wrangler Unlimited lol.
Much better on road experience and the lift kit and bigger tires go on it next week!

They’re a chrysler product. They’re definitely not reliable.
As for off-road ability, my fanboyish nature says a Range Rover or LR4 (dunno about the new Disco yet) could probably take it, stock-for-stock.

So you’re telling me that if I want to go off road, I should spend 3-4 times as much for a vehicle that is similarly capable off road and even less reliable?

All I said was off road ability.
If you want off road ability for the price , then yeah, the Wrangler is probably the best option out there.
The major advantage to the Landies, of course, is they’re an absolute dream to drive on-road.

I know. I don’t care for wranglers, and I adore land rovers/range rovers, but I couldn’t not.

i’d rather have the black Cruze.
at leat the repair bills will be cheaper.

Never thought of the RS4 as an M3 and a WRX STI fusion, I wonder why the Audi RS models get such little love...
